Helping the Sydney community with relationships, parenting, ageing, disability, pastoral services and mental wellbeing.

We are approaching the end of what has been another difficult year for everyone in Sydney but particularly for those who were already struggling or on their own. Thankfully, we can now hope that the worst of the COVID impacts may be behind us. You can trust that, here at CatholicCare, we will be working hard, continuing our support of people and, where needed, helping them to rebuild their lives.

Please look out for those in our community who are still finding the going a bit tough. It is surprising how a kind gesture, a pat on the back or even just a smile and a greeting can make a real difference to people.

We have all experienced separation from those we love this year. I do hope that you get to spend lots of time with family and friends this Christmas. I think we will all cherish this time even more than we do normally.

On behalf of everyone here at CatholicCare, I wish you and your family and friends a safe and joyful Christmas.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you; and may the Lord turn to you and give you peace.
