In an eventful example of Catholic community partnership, CatholicCare Sydney and Santa Sabina College recently hosted the first Club DCI All Abilities School Disco at the leading and local Catholic school, Strathfield campus.
Club DCI is CatholicCare Sydney’s popular social program creating safe, fun, and inclusive spaces for people with disability to connect, make friends, and enjoy community life.

Club DCI All Abilities School Disco
Last Friday, students from Santa Sabina College and St Patrick’s College joined participants from our disability services for a fun and inclusive night of music, dancing, and connection. Over 150 young people and people with disability filled the venue, joining forces to party with a ‘Summer Vibes’ theme donning bright outfits and big smiles.
Participants enjoyed mingling and dancing with the students. The energy lasted throughout the evening complimented by student-led DJs, face painting, and a fun photo booth.
This event represents an exciting step in strengthening ties between CatholicCare Sydney’s Disability Services and local Catholic schools.

Special thanks to Santa Sabina College and St Patrick's College
Our community driven work is about building genuine friendships, breaking down barriers between those living with disability and the wider community, and living out the values of inclusion, collaboration and empowerment.
A huge THANK YOU to the dedicated teams at CatholicCare Sydney, and especially to the staff and students at Santa Sabina College and St Patrick's College, for their enthusiasm, inclusiveness and hard work in making the night such a success.
Moments like these remind us what’s possible when we work together in solidarity!
