Youth Homelessness & Youth at Risk

CatholicCare Sydney provides services for young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness by providing assistance with transitional and long term accommodation and assistance with personal issues via casework, outreach and brokerage services.


Our Services for Youth Homelessness & Youth at Risk

ALIVE supports young people aged 16 to 25 who are homeless, or at risk of being homeless, with financial assistance, accommodation and other support. The aim of the program is to empower young people to achieve independent living.

ALIVE and Free provides support and housing for young people within the Juvenile Justice System. The aim of the program is to equip young people with living skills and assist them to achieve independent living and positive alternatives to committing crimes.

ALIVE and Well is a group program offering both social and educational activities for young people on a regular basis.

EMPATHY aims to address issues including poverty, lack of opportunities, isolation, mental health issues, drug and alcohol use, neglect and abuse by providing skills-based sessions for homeless youth across Sydney.

The ALIVE Literacy Program provides one-on-one tutoring in reading and writing skills to assist young people in completing educational study.
