Integrated Carer Support Service

New Government services for carers

Carers are valuable members of our community with varying circumstances and needs.

To ensure carers are properly supported, the Australian Government is introducing services designed to help carers manage their daily challenges, reduce stress and plan for the future.

CatholicCare Sydney has been contracted to design, test and pilot two of these services, a Digital Counselling Service and an Online Peer Support Forum.

Want to be involved?

We are looking to engage with carers who may be interested in helping us design and test these two exciting new services. Your feedback will be important in ensuring services meet the needs of people caring for relatives or friends.

There are two ways to be involved:-

  • For carers experiencing anxiety, stress or low mood who would like to know more about our Carer Counselling Service and how it can help, call the Service Manager Nichola Marsonet on 13 18 19
