Introducing D'Leanne Lewis, Ambassador of HOPE

Born in South Africa during the apartheid period, D'Leanne Lewis' father brought his family to Australia in search of hope.

From humble beginnings, D'Leanne Lewis is now Principal of Laing + Simmons Double Bay, Director Laing + Simmons National Corporation and proud Ambassador of CatholicCare's HOPE Program.

D'Leanne has worked hard for success but her greatest achievement, and what she is most proud of, is that she has two happy, healthy and beautiful daughters. By supporting the HOPE program, she is acting on her own belief that everyone can make a difference.

"I believe in paying it forward. I believe we can all make a difference and I also believe it is our duty, as human beings, to lift up others who need it most" D'Leanne Lewis

We are extremely grateful for D'Leanne's support and look forward to working together to bring hope to young mothers across Sydney.

About HOPE

The HOPE program provides vital support to vulnerable mothers 16-25 years who are pregnant or have a child under the age of two. These young mums are often dealing with other complex issues, including mental health concerns as a result of trauma in their lives, homelessness and poverty.

The 18-month HOPE program has been developed by parenting and education experts, trauma counsellors, social workers and specialist psychologists at CatholicCare to be a complete wrap-around service that meets the complex needs of each individual family.
