CatholicCare is an essential part of the Sydney community. Our greatest wish is to see the people in our communities thrive, irrespective of beliefs and abilities. To make this possible we proudly work alongside Sydney Parishes and other community organisations to deliver our strategic plan.
As the social services agency of the Archdiocese of Sydney, CatholicCare supports Sydney parishes to help families and individuals in their communities. Together, CatholicCare and Parishes are the “hands and feet” of Christ as disciples in the community, supporting the marginalized and vulnerable.
Our Community Care Workers provide face-to-face support for Parish communities. This free and confidential service offers advice and advocacy to people as they navigate the social services sector helping them to find the help they need.
CatholicCare works alongside many organisations to help people to live and thrive at all ages. We acknowledge the following organisations that support us in our work:
We acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where we work, live and gather. We are committed to actively working alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, especially in the areas of social inclusion, reconciliation and justice.
