Our volunteers provide vital assistance to people in the community who are facing hardship, loneliness or disadvantage.
Call us on 13 18 19 to find out how you can become a volunteer or complete the form below.
We seek enthusiastic volunteers between the ages of 18 and 80 years to assist in various Sydney regions.
A number of volunteering options are available:
Face-to-face social support
Volunteers visit seniors in their homes or in nursing homes to offer companionship over a cup of tea, accompany them to the shops or simply have a stroll around the block.
Phone-based social support and wellbeing
Volunteers call people who are isolated and lonely to check on their wellbeing, have a chat and build a relationship to help clients feel more connected to the community.
Volunteers represent and promote CatholicCare by working with parishes to assist seniors access government funded and other aged care services.
If you have other skills to offer that could be of service, we encourage you to contact us to discuss opportunities.
