Clean Up Program
What is The Clean Up Program?
The Clean Up Program provides free support to people who are frail aged, people with disability and carers and aims to create a clean environment so that people affected by squalor and hoarding can live in safe and healthy surroundings.
The Clean Up Program:
- Helps to maintain independence
- Create a healthy living space
- Reduces safety risks, including falls
- Avoids neighbour confrontation
The Clean Up Program helps by providing goals-based case management and making appropriate referrals to community services that can provide ongoing support. The Clean Up Program also works with the affected person to carry out a one-off clean up of the home and encourages clients who are able to make decision to decide which items to keep, and which to donate or throw away.
Who does The Clean Up Program support?
The Clean Up Program provides support to people living in the Fairfield and Liverpool Local Government Areas.
