Chaplaincy

The primary task of the Catholic Chaplains who work the State Correctional Centres and the Public Hospitals is to provide pastoral care and support.

Chaplains provide pastoral care and support to inmates, their families and staff of the prisons as well as the patients, their families and staff of the hospitals in accordance with their respective Memoranda of Understanding (Corrective Services Department and NSW Health Department) and as members of a multi-faith team.
